SolGen MKII – True Portable Power

Solar panels generate more power in direct sunlight. The inability of most systems to aim their solar panels toward the sun results in a short, daily window of direct sunlight exposure. The SolGen MKII has two 75-watt solar panels that are extremely maneuverable; thus, providing maximum daily solar panel exposure to the sun. As a result, the SolGen MKII solar panels can operate at their rated capacity all day. Additionally, the system employs MPPT TECHNOLOGY; which allows the solar panels to operate at their rated voltage instead of the battery voltage and results in about a 25% increase in power to the battery bank. This combination provides more power than a traditional fixed solar panel installation and allows the system's daily power generation to compete with traditional fuel-driven generators.
